Lower loop a hard crust over what was rolled and groomed a few days ago. A slog for classic skiing and not really skiable for skate skiing until there’s enough snow for grooming. Groomed wet snow (think cookie dough) for both Nordic and skating. Lots of folks on the trails with both parking lots full. Will be enjoyable for a skier happy with fast and maybe a tad sloppy conditions.

Lower loop gravel trail compacted with the roller and groomed for skate yesterday afternoon. Good coverage, but still low snow so the track is lumpy in places and twigs still showing in the meadow and off the gravel trail. Need a few more inches of snow to set a...Dec 16, 2020 | Eagle Beach

Made 4 passes with the roller from 1600-1830. Good for first attempt and low snow. Will hit it again tomorrow. Be careful of rocks especially at the pallet bridge.
