Groomed up so, so well

It looks amazing at the EB Campground now. So smooth and sinuous, take your good skis. Both classic and skating are excellent. The Eagle River (Amalga) Trail and the Methodist Camp trail still need some work as a tree blocks access at the north end.

Lower loop groomed

Scott groomed the lower loop this morning. He added the section that leads from the lower parking lot. Classic track is good, skate lane is firm, but narrow. It is COLD. +5 degrees at the lodge. Dress warmly.

Groomed for skate and classic. I didn’t get on the trail until after 11:30 am and I still had first tracks. Sweet skate skiing! Classic looked good, too. Conditions should hold until the rain starts. My advice: go skiing on Friday morning!
