Grooming Situation – did not groom on Friday as the snow was too saturated. I’m going to head out shortly and check the track to see if it is groomable.

Saturday 9:15am. Heavy wet snow off track but great groomed skiing. Skate & classic set all around. Very light rain is no problem. The only thing more fun would be skiing the Buckwheat! Go Juneau kids!

Grooming will begin at 8:30am. Mechanical issues will limit trail grooming today to one pass on the skate lane. Classic track was set yesterday and should be in good shape today.

No grooming today

A skier may be able to stay atop the snow but walking out to check for grooming resulted in the formation of slush. There is a significant amount of water on top of the ice. I would look elsewhere today. The campground looks good.
