Grooming will begin at 8:30am. Mechanical issues will limit trail grooming today to one pass on the skate lane. Classic track was set yesterday and should be in good shape today.

A skier may be able to stay atop the snow but walking out to check for grooming resulted in the formation of slush. There is a significant amount of water on top of the ice. I would look elsewhere today. The campground looks good.Mar 6, 2026 | Mendenhall Campground

and then had to go back for more clothes and hot chocolate. About 27F when I left and snowing heavily. Road into the parking lot needs plowing so 4 wheel drive best until it is. Will return later for more compacting with just machine and roller. No tracks reset yet...
