as Gomer would tell Sgt Carter (for thsoe of youmpld enough to remeber Gomer Py;e USMC circa 1964).
A magic late afternoon skiing yuesterday; only a few ligh sprinkles after the morning/early afternoon downpour. Fresh, great tracks to km 3.1, and very good snow conditions. I appreciate the work the groomers do every day in all kinds of weather.
Three bummers though:
1) only one other person out there enjoying the beauty and skiing.
2) need more snow but it is coming
3) on the outbound found lthe track setter abandoned at km 3.1 abd the snow machine abandoned at km 1.2. On the return the snow machine was near the starting gate covered. My take is there a snow machine issue and it is to be removed for repair.
WIthout any overnight rain should still be great skiing this morning.
Skier Jack.
