Its a start!

1/7/2020 at 1930 – finished rolling the road. Not recommended for skiing yet as the snow cover is Flat Stanley thin, but it was snowing hard when I finished. Hopefully there will be enough accumulation to roll again tomorrow and it will be skiable.

Eagle Beach packed and rolled Jan. 7

Ranger Brad rolled and packed Eagle Beach campground this morning. Conditions are skiable, but still thin; a few rocks and other obstacles are showing. Still too thin to set a classic track. The next dump of snow will make it nice.

Eaglecrest Upper Loop

Upper loop was silky smooth for skating at noon today, about 21 degrees F. Beautiful grooming job for classic as well.

Don drilled close to shore on the lake near skaters cabin. It was less than two inches!! The lake is not safe !!!

Campground not quite ready. 1/2 is groomed but too much gravel. Hopefully tonight’s snow will fix that.

Excellent skate and classic on upper loop
