Stayed the night at Marten Cabin, was like we had fresh tracks the entire time we were out there! Classic and skate great in campground, loop behind Meth Camp fun! Sunny, no wind. Was a cool 9 degrees when we left around 11:30 this morning. Worth the weekend...

Grooming completed. Classic track reset for the weekend and the skate lane is corduroy. Yesterday the classic track was rocket fast with klister giving a reliable kick. The skate lane was firm and fast too. Expect the same today.

Groomed for skate and classic. Sunny and mild breeze on lower loop. A little more wind in exposed areas of upper loop. Conditions are excellent.

Yes, some of the groomers are just regular Joes, with a regular shift at the factory. Plan to celebrate Friday with a fresh groom for the after work crowd. The new look will commence at 3:30 and be ready for the masses around 5:30. Corduroy for the masses!

North Douglas Pioneer road is good classic skiing. A few pine cone and hemlock grabbers in the track, but I didn’t see any rocks. And a free ~ 1/2 mile coast at the end to the gate if you get out of the tracks and ski on the skate trail!
