Groomed for skate & classic Fri. evening 1/15. The snow will set up well overnight and be pretty good tomorrow, all things considered. There some are thin spots and debris under the trees, so leave your top-shelf skis at home, but at least 3/4 of the track groomed...

It was snowing this morning on the UL. The track and skate lane conditions are good but the snow is slow and wet, a great workout. It’s winter up there. Go get it.

Grooming Stopped

We have stopped grooming Camp Ground until we get snow. We want to save what we have, Yellow speed bumps starting to show through the ice.

Montana Creek

I groomed the skate skiing track this morning and it turned out good. Snow was too hard to groom the classic but it looks usable although icy in spots. Walk from the parking lot to the snow machine as this stretch is nothing but ice.

Not many customers at the Campground, but the skating is fair. Classic is marginal. Ginzu’d the main drags and let classic stew in it’s own juices.
