You can expect the usual perfection, but may take a while with all of the new soft snow. He will set for skate and classic, but classic should be the preferred form of skiing considering the soft cold snow conditions. I will update if needed.Feb 1, 2021 | Mendenhall Lake

I tried to post this from the upper loop this morning, but my weak connection didn’t allow it. The upper loop was just heavenly this morning! Lower loop is groomed for skate and classic, but watch for low snow conditions (exposed dirt and gravel) in spots off of the hardened trail. Upper loop is in beautiful condition and very fun to ski! Groomed for skate only–nice corduroy. Classic track is good so waiting for more snow to reset it. Beware of some pieces of gravel and spruce cones. About 25 degrees and light snow flurries.
