Classic recommended due to soft snow

Skate skiing became difficult by noon due to soft snow conditions. I don’t expect that to change on Sunday. Classic skiing remains good all day, although be careful of the snow collapsing on the sides of the track. Spring ski conditions.

The best skate skiing will be earlier in the day while tracks are still firm. Later in the day will bring spring conditions. Classic should be good all day. Upper and lower loop trails fully groomed. 33 degrees at base and snowing lightly.
