There is snow at Eaglecrest

The nordic loops at Eaglecrest are well covered in cold, locked-up snow, with very little debris. If they end up being groomed, or if Wednesday or Thursday afternoons end up warm enough to slush up the crust, the loops should ski well later in the day.

Morning is the best time for a firm, fast skate track on the lower loop. Upper loop stays in good shape into the afternoon. Party at the base of Ptarmigan starting at 11:30 with live music. Thank you Eaglecrest for a long wonderful season of skiing!

Froze pretty good up here last night. Once we get all the hoof marks out, skate will be great for a few hours. Firm and fist. Will hit the classic once it softens up some. It’s not bad right now.

Eaglecrest trails groomed for skate and classic

Groomers are human and occasionally they get sick. The Eaglecrest groomer became ill last night so the nordic trails are being groomed later than usual. The lower loop classic track had some issues (tracksetter fell off in a few spots) and is a bit messy in places....
