Made one sample hole today on Mendenhall Lake. 300 ft off shore of of Skaters Cabin. 4 inches of bubbly soft Ice on surface with no snow cover. 5 inches of slushy water unfrozen. 8 inches of very soft Ice to unfrozen Lake water.
