Skier and groomer

Pioneer was in good shape this afternoon, both skate and classic. A couple of bare spots here and there. No one was skiing though! I plan to freshen up and widen the skate lane starting at about 9:30 AM Friday and then see how the classic track looks.

Groomed skate and classic, skate a little soft and not consistent towards end, snow deeper at end. 33f and lt rain at beginning, snowing the farther in you go. All good though, very nice.

On the evening of Valentine’s Day, P. Road got flowers. A classic track and a beautiful skate lane were set under light snow and a soft breeze. The skiing is excellent but the conditions are thin, so be careful traveling at higher speeds.

lake looks inviting but under the fresh cover of beautiful snow is about 3-4 inches of slush, no grooming until we get a cold snap.
