Lower Loop Classic Track 2/6

The tracks were really shallow. Waxless skis or a Klister binder with ice klister and topped with Toko Red worked really well. VR45 and 50 hard wax has worked for others.

Eaglecrest Upper Loop groomed this morning!

Upper Loop groomed this morning. I found out after skiing the lower loop that upper had been set. Lower loop in EXCELLENT condition, especially considering the lack of new snow. Highly recommended!!

Lower loop very fun today!

Eaglecrest groomed the lower loop for skate and classic today and it was very fun skiing. The track firmed up after the soft conditions of the past few days and much of the debris has cleared off of the surface. Should be good skiing for the next few days. Please...

Lower Loop

Lower loop corn snow and snow coverage is holding on. Classic trail nice – not too deep, not too shallow. Good skiing on waxless skis.

Lower Eaglecrest Groomed

The inch of new snow yesterday was groomed and classic track set. Classic on waxless skis was not bad. Corn snow trending towards icy in spots.

Fat Boy

Lower loop had about an inch of wet snow on the ungroomed trail. Corn snow not sticky like yesterday and more manageable for an overweight dude on waxless classic skis.

Lower Loop

The Lower Loop was excellent for skating as the corduroy is soft, but not deep, perfect for those high speed turns. The classic track was shallow. Swix Blue 45 offered a decent kick midday.

Eaglecrest lower loop just keeps getting better

Lower loop freshly groomed for skate and classic every morning, and it’s getting better and better. Sunday should be very nice with the promise of just a little bit of new snow to smooth out an already perfect track. Blue glide wax and Blue to Blue Extra kick...

Freshly Groomed

Eaglecrest skate freshly groomed and classic track set with a quarter inch of new snow and snow falling. Fast conditions.

Still Skiable, but………

Lower trail on Eaglecrest was skiable on waxless skis today but a bit icier than yesterday and the tracks are getting shallow with the melting. Need either some snow or warmer temps. If it freezes, it will be an ice rink unless they can groom.
