Upper loop nicely groomed

Upper loop was nicely groomed for skate and classic. The classic track was properly set on the side leaving a wide skate lane. Very good skiing, Swix purple (VR50) kick wax.

Upper loop groomed for skate and classic! Lower loop also well groomed. It is beautiful up here today!

Lower Loop rough but skiable

Lower Loop a bit rough (snow cat tracks showing in lots of areas) after two days without grooming but still skiable. Classic groove non-existent in parts. A couple puddles in the main meadow. Some organics on the trail inside the trees by the lodge.

Wet and windy, ungroomed today. Soft snow and very rough for skating. Classic track largely worn away. But not all that bad!

Lower loop soft. Classic track barely set with the wet snow but set good enough for good glide. Probably a slow skate. Still good snow coverage everywhere.

Lower Loop was groomed and classic track set pretty well. If you ski at night, beware of dogs on the trail.

Classic waxless skis on the lower loop last night with snow falling and enough to improve grip a bit. Should be good today, especially if they can set the classic trail. Another skier with a big golden retriever tearing up the trail apparently not able to read the big...

Upper Loop at EC

Just got down from the Mountain and the skating conditions were FAST on both the lower and upper loops. Unfortunately, a washed out track on the lower loop, and a non-existent track on the upper, made for poor classic conditions. Off piste was excellent for both....
