Lower loop does not appear to be groomed, but is still doable for skate skiing or classic. On Wednesday it was too firm at 10:00, but starting to soften at 11:30 for a nice skating. Classic track seemed to be in good shape.
Upper loop was well groomed and softening at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, so it is presumably quite good early afternoon.
Lower loop meadows were plenty soft to skate off trail by 11:00 a.m. I imagine that is good news for Spalding meadows… Might be nice by mid- mornings? Would welcome any reports.
