Upper Loop trails are good today, softer snow with warm temps. Classic with fish scales, and skating. A few spots where edges have melted out, but trails are firm enough, not punchy. Plenty of fresh snow at Eagle Beach this morning and it was snowing hard when the Juneau Nordic Ski Team finished training there around noon. Skate skiing and classic are both good in the soft, ungroomed snow. Coverage in the trees is getting much better.
