Saturday 10 am It’s a winter wonderland—ski it while it’s still groomed! New skate & classic tracks all around but snow continues to fall— new light powder.

Finished grooming at 10:30. Resurfaced for skate but left the classic as it’s in great shape. Beautiful day. 6° below zero but no wind! Get some skiing in before tomorrow’s predicted snow storm.

Groomer Dan set a nice classic track on the trail that is located across the road from the campground trail. Lovely skiing through the woods! A narrow skate lane, good practice for keeping your feet under you.

Campground groomed this morning, skate lanes are buffed and the classic track was in good condition so I didn’t try to reset. It’s cold so bundle up and have a Merry Christmas. Dan is grooming the Tolch Rock Trail so it we’ll be a fun alternative...

Very VERY cold morning. -12 at my house on River RD. Noticeably colder at the campground. Finished grooming at 1030. Groomed for skate and set new classic tracks. Hard dry snow, breaks from the ginzu teeth in small nuggets in places making a slightly rough surface....

skate lanes are turning out quite nice considering Sundays traffic and events. probably gonna leave classic alone. too set up to do much with. It looks just fine. -10 here at noon. -dg-

Finished grooming at 11:30. Temperature -4°. Groomed for skate and reset classic-both are very good. Be careful where 1/2 of the road was plowed to the new USFS cabin–there may be gravel and a small berm. JT
