Crazy good and more trails to ski

By 3:30 on Tuesday EB campground was perfectly set for classic and skate. Basically unused tonight & will be even better tomorrow as it firms. Classic tracks now also go up the river and around Methodist Camp so you can ski lots of great trails.

Worked it hard -roll, roll, rolling all day. So much snow, so little time. Worth the drive most certainly. Tomorrow I’ll set a classic track with the Ginzu groomer magic carpet rider. Woohoo. Caveat; trails up the Eagle River and behind Methodist Camp were compressed...

Upper loop still good

I’ve been teaching skate ski lessons on the upper loop for the past couple of days, and it is still good skiing. Classic track is still there and looks good. It gets a little mushy when many skiers have been around it, especially in the meadow/stadium area....

going, going ….

Explored EB with the skate skis and found about 80% manageable skate skiing, 10% water skiing, and 10% ice skating. Classic skiing would yield a higher percentage of water skiing. Come get what little remains while you can because it doesn’t seem like it will...

EB groomed by 3:30

A bit slushy/icy in places along the River, but nicer throughout the woods. Flattened out the skate lanes. Started to set new classic but it made it worse. Warm out there.
