The portion of the lower loop that’s over gravel trail is groomed and skiing excellently. I was surprised, happily, that the upper loop is being fully groomed and while the snowpack is a bit soft, the snow is fast and it’s not getting a lot of skiing. A nice option for varied terrain, with Pioneer Road is shortened.

Thank you for the update, Shawn! The upper and lower loop trails are groomed daily every day the ski area is open and the groomers have been doing an excellent job. I agree, the upper loop needs more ski traffic. Maybe as the days get a bit longer skiers will find their way up there. It is such a fun trail system! Spread the word – the upper loop is awesome!
