Shhh- keep the secret- Pioneer Rd is good

Thursday afternoon. The 1″ of powder softened things up. Skating and classic is quite good. It has not been groomed but the classic track is still in. There are a few obvious thin spots early on that are easily avoidable. You have to remove skis across the wash out. The second half of the road has great coverage. Check your speed coming back down the last 2 hills because the 1″ of pow is still over fast and firm stuff, but it’s manageable. More dustings of snow will only make it better.
