Set basic classic track. Keep left at our equipment tents, not up and around.BF

This comment is a follow-up to Jack’s comments on dog poop, and an appeal to fellow dog-walkers and skiers with dogs. We are sure you have noticed that our local walking and groomed skiing trails are awash in dog poop. It is getting pretty obnoxious, not to mention also a health hazard, especially for the dogs themselves. We like to think that most dog owners consider themselves responsible and are ready and able to pick up after their dogs. But it is our observation that most of the dogs on the trails are not on leash, and that there is ample opportunity for dogs bounding ahead or lagging behind to do their business unnoticed by their owners, adding more piles to the problem. What we encourage is that each dog-owner, presumably already equipped with poop bags, commit to bring at least one and preferably two bags of dog poop out, even if its not from your dog. We know, somehow that unidentified dog’s poop is more disgusting than your dog’s poop, but you can do it! That way you ensure there is no net gain, and maybe even a reduction, in the dog poop pollution problem.
