Salmon Creek
*NEW* as of the 22/23 ski season, Salmon Creek Road grooming will start at the top of the big hill past the water tower. After hiking (or skiing!) up, enjoy a gentle 2.75km trail with approx 120ft of total elevation gain. Turn around at the old power house and enjoy a fun ride back! ~5.5km roundtrip. Trail access is off Egan Drive (northbound only) at 3 mile (before the stop light), or behind Bartlett Hospital and Wildflower Court. Thanks to AEL&P and the City and Borough of Juneau for their collaboration to make this new ski opportunity possible!
