On Friday the lower Peterson Lake trail has ok coverage for rock skis. The traverse through the woods is thin. The marked trail between John Muir and Peterson is excellent as is the ski to Spaulding from John Muir. Skiing down Saturday from John Muir is good in the meadows but thin in the forests.
