No high winds on Eaglecrest lower trails yet

The high winds did not reach the Eaglecrest lower trails yesterday and so far today there are no strong winds at the base. It is very cold – six degrees at the moment. Trails groomed for skate and classic. Classic track is still a bit sketchy but skiable. Skate lane is wide and smooth. Dress for the cold but don’t worry too much about the wind. According to the weather station at the base of Ptarmigan chair, the max wind speed yesterday was 7 mph. Current wind speed is zero.
