Setting a really nice classic track. Leave your skate skis at home as it is way too soft

I skied this afternoon on the lower loop, and the classic track was in great shape. The rest of the trail was a bit soft for decent skating, but the classic track had set up well and was reasonably fast considering the warm temperatures. There was hardly anyone else there during the two hours I skied on all sections of the loop, and the light sprinkle of rain was hardly noticeable. So don’t write off the skiing at EC yet — it’s some of the most pleasant skiing of the year!
