Mendenhall Lake and the Campground

Since we only have one grooming machine available between the Lake and Campground you might want to plan your ski day with this in mind. A groomer will be doing the campground from 8:30 until it’s done. Normally that might take 1-2 hours but could well be longer today considering the new snow and possible need to compact before grooming. Consequently, I could be grooming the Lake by 11 but likely closer to noon. The lake, of course, will take longer to groom and will need compacting first as I don’t think anyone got to it yesterday with the storm conditions most of the day. So, I expect to be on the lake from about 12 – 3 if it’s not too wet and the grooming machine holds up. Fingers crossed and with patience, we’ll get it back and running before colder weather.
