As of 3:30 PM yesterday, there was about 4 inches of snow on the lower loop. There were ski tracks, but the snow cover was definitely thin and rock ski conditions. From this morning’s Eaglecrest website report, it looks like it snowed about 3 inches more overnight, so the coverage at least on the lower loop gravel trail should be decent. Rock skis probably still a good idea. We need a few more inches of snow to start grooming, hopefully we might get that tonight.
Lower loop report
Nov 15, 2015 | Eaglecrest

A group of us skiied the Lower Loop this evening on skier-set tracks, and it was amazingly good. My skis didn’t go through to the road or the muskeg once. Probably 9 to 10″ coverage. I had fish scale skis -red glide wax was fast.
