The lower loop is groomed for both classic and skate skiing! The upper loop was groomed for classic skiing only. The access trail to the upper loop is just below the base of the Black Bear chairlift if you climb up Sneaky. Access is also available by climbing up Trickster or riding the Hooter chairlift. Safety leashes are required by state law when riding a chairlift – if you don’t have any go to the retail shop in the Porcupine Lodge and they can help you.

A nordic trail pass will give you access to the Hooter chairlift for one ride in the morning and one ride in the afternoon. Of course, your alpine pass will work, too!
