Eaglecrest not ready for prime time

The lower loop was in terrible shape this morning. Thick breakable snowpack made for slow going and treacherous downhills. Once I made it to the meadow I could ski-set a track that was okay. I had to sidestep one steep downhill coming out of the meadow. Scott tried to get a machine out there to do a little grooming, but it didn’t work out. Rumor has it that a JNSC groomer might be able to do something tomorrow to make it more skiable.
