The Eaglecrest grooming crew made the first snowcat grooming pass today on the lower loop. They need more snow and colder temps to groom the full loop, they just did the hardened sections for now. When we skied this afternoon, there was a couple inches of fluff over a firm base. No classic track yet but the classic skiing was fine. Coverage is good, but the snowcat kicked up a few rocks at the top of the parking lot access trail where it meets the main trail, so keep your eyes open there. Thanks Eaglecrest groomers! — Jack K.
