Eagle Beach groomed for skate

Eagle Beach was icy and full of frozen ruts and post-hole boot tracks, but the ginzu chopped up most of it Friday night. The result: there will be some fair skate skiing this weekend. We emphasize “fair” – there are some thin icy spots on the back loop, and some hard frozen ruts remain in places. There is no classic track set – we need more snow to make that work.
