Wandering the greater dredge area currently, well-packed trails in the common southern areas and a wonderfully supportive crust on beaver ponds and unpacked land including Mendenhall lake shore. Some ponds do have overflow below crust but I have yet to have my skis punch through. 200 pounds on 80mm wide skis.
Dredge is decent!

Update upon returning – old river trail and moraine lake trail were messy with bent tree blockage. Northerly beaver ponds, winter route and even moraine lake crossing had yhe supportive crust. My tracks exposed slush on Mendenhall Lake. Crust adjacent to southern trails (which have a packed path) was more breakable.
