Over the weekend a friend’s small dog was caught in a snare trap about 100 yds from the Pioneer Rd. trailhead. He was noosed around the neck for nearly 6 hrs and couldn’t bark to help his people to find him. Follow-up with ADF&G indicated that the trapline is legal and authorized. Please be extra careful with your pups in this area!
