Montana Sunday

“You clean up nice” most signs of Saturday’s race are covered with a new coat of corduroy thanks to Ben. Temps oddly warm, and pack thin, so he left the diagonal alone. Still a few thin patches but overall, good.

Grooming

Montana groomed and looking great. Classic track is not set. Need a little more snow. Section between gun range and top of the hill where the machines are stowed is not groomed yet.

An emotional morning–last day of grooming and last day of skate skiing. Skiing was still fairly good with the snow surprisingly firm, but a few bare spots are emerging. Rock skis would be a good choice now. The bridge has only broken ice patches so skiing starts...
