Surprisingly there was some snow falling as I walked up to groom at 9:15. Icy on road past gate to first hill and grooming started at base of that first hill. Surprising trace snow at start of Montana and about 3/4″ depth towards end. Wet snow falling as I groomed from 8:30 – 9:30. Surface is graded flat corduroy but soft. Montana Creek was groomed this morning for Skate skiing. Classic track is still good but down to a ice layer in the lower trail sections. Snow is in the forecast for Saturday if not ,we will need to do some shoveling in areas of need.
