Sadly the hard rains last night washed out a lot of the residual snow we had. Lost of slushy and bare/icy patches all the way out. Some decent snow mixed in between but overall just sadness. 🙁

Groomed this morning for skate. Left the classic track alone. The upper half is in good shape. Walk to the bottom of the first hill. Some icy spots until half way up the trail.

Ski and Hike for Brewski event

A heads up for Saturday morning, March 1st: The “hike and ski for a Brewski” event (sponsored by the JNSC and Trail Mix) will be using the M Cr trail starting about 9:30 AM. We should be done by noon or sooner. Thanks for sharing the trail!

Good skiing above the bridge and excellent skiing above the landslide. Daily grooming is doing the trick. If it has been raining and you ski late in the day, conditions will be soft. Morning to midday is best if you can swing it.
