things are touching up nicely. somewhat soft conditions. classic looks great. there is an inch or two of butter on top of a surprisingly firm base. first now.

Got there for the early groom. No rain or wind – fast and firm. Seemed like JT was laying down fresh corduroy just for me. Lap after lap of freeshies – life is good!

The snow firmed up a little with the light freeze last night making for better and faster conditions than the last few days. I refreshed the corduroy and reset the classic. Reports from skiers are that conditions are very nice....

Finished Campground about 1245. Groomed for skate and new classic track set. Groomed all the pullouts. Skate surface on a good base, with soft top. Classic set really nice with the exception of a few hard-snow spots on the causeways and turns. It gets trampled quickly...

1130 Finished grooming for skate and set new classic track. Was able to use minimal knives to smooth out the bumps and machine track marks from yesterday. Nice base, soft top. No rain while I was working. Come ski before it gets trampled by dogs and people....
