The campground was perfectly groomed this morning by 10:30 a.m., compliments of Mother Nature, the Juneau Nordic Ski Club, and master groomer Scott Fischer. Skate lane and classic track both in excellent condition.

Fast loose granular skate surface. Classic track is shallow and icy. Expect it will soften as the day warms up. Still very good coverage.

Scott groomed the campground this morning for skate and classic. Sun and new snow and fresh groomed tracks = smiles. Also groomed the new trail on the other side of the road.

I forgot to post this morning that Scott groomed the campground for skate and classic. Conditions are surprisingly good. Zero skis worked great in the classic track.

I’ll start grooming campground about 8am and should be finished about 10. Looks like a light freeze overnight so snow should groom well. I’ll update when finished. The lake will NOT be groomed.
