Yesterday afternoon the lower loop had plenty of snow but a breakable wind crust, I wouldn’t recommend it. There was a skier set track from the day before but some bozo post holed on foot in the track all the way around the meadow, so the track was wrecked. Aaaargh! Why would somebody want to do that, aren’t there better places to walk without post holing which isn’t much fun? — Jack K.
Hopefully the forecast snow tonight will pan out and Eaglecrest can groom the lower loop soon.
