Eaglecrest’s Upper Loop! There is a wide, groomed path up Trickster for those skiing/hiking up (please watch for downhill traffic and stay to the left) and it’s worth the effort as the corduroy and tracks have been top notch this last week. If you’re heading up this weekend, two important things to know:
1. You must possess a Nordic day or season pass to access EC groomed trails (https://skieaglecrest.com/nordic/).
2. Your pass entitles you to one ride up the Hooter Chair each day, and all riders must have a leash/retention device connecting each boot to its respective binding. By preventing a runaway ski incident, this protects other skiers/riders should your ski get knocked off during the chairlift ride. Not to mention it’s state law!
However you get there, get up and enjoy the snow!
