Hilda Cabin Fever
Oct 19th & 20th @ Eaglecrest Ski Area
Work crew will meet at 9am down at the parking lot both days and hike up soon after (so head on up if 9am is too early!) Work includes interior painting, pruning of vegetation, and repairing indoor flooring as well as the outside ramp. Bring work gloves, appropriate clothing and personal protective equipment (for painting, etc), and your own food/water for the day. Contact Wayne Carnes with questions: merrywayne@gmail.com.
2nd Annual Alder-fest!
Saturday, Oct 22nd out Pioneer Road (near end of N Douglas Hwy)
Meet near the gate at 9:30am or come find us later in the morning. Work begins ~1 mile up the road, so bring your bike, walking shoes, or take advantage of the shuttle provided. Bring gloves, loppers if you have, and a disdain for alder’s growing in our grooming path. Help us pull up alder shoots and clear brush so we can groom as soon as we get snow!
