The Juneau Nordic Ski Club will again sponsor Ski O’Caching, an event for individuals and families. You must be a JNSC member to participate. The event is a cross between geocaching and orienteering using cross country skis to find weekly clues posted along or near a groomed trail. As with “geo-caching”, registered participants will receive location clues with GPS coordinates by every Friday evening via email for five consecutive weeks, starting on January 16, 2026.
As conditions permit, participants ski and search along Juneau Nordic ski trails until they find each week’s word clue. Collect all five words and form the winning sentence. Submit your winning sentence by February 20, 2026 to win prizes.
