Volunteers needed this Saturday, October 23rd! Help us get Montana Creek ready to groom (and ski!) before the snow flies.
The trail has been cleared of trees, stones, and stumps, but we are left with MUD–lots of it! Our goal is to move as much crushed rock as we can from the bridge to the slide (wheelbarrow races anyone?) to harden that mud. For people who don’t want to move earth, we have brushing to do.
If you have, bring: a shovel, wheelbarrow, rake, hoe, brush clearing tools, gloves, and friends.
Our biggest need is an ATV with a 2” ball socket for towing a trailer. Do you have one we can use this Saturday? Let us know by responding to this post or by contacting Odin at 907-209-4344.
Work will start at 9:00 AM but help is needed throughout the day.
Staging area will be at the road turnaround by the bridge. Park alongside the road as we will be using the turnaround for storing and moving gravel and other equipment.
Hope to see you there!
