Mendenhall Lake was drilled today showing 12 inches to 14 inches of
good ice along the Nordic ski clubs normal route. Three passes with
the roller helped to smooth the course out. With high wind warnings
out conditions may change. If all goes well with the weather we may have the Lake for a while.
If you go off trail do not approach the Glacier Terminus , due to calving Ice and river
inflow. Avoid Nugget falls and its inflow water.
