Welcome to the Juneau Nordic Ski Club!

Your membership dollars and donations are put to good use and dedicated to providing quality skiing wherever the JNSC club equipment makes tracks or advocates for cross country skiing in Juneau. JNSC volunteers are highly dedicated in their day-in and day-out efforts to keep trails immaculate whenever snow is on the ground. Each ski season the JNSC grooms 100-135 days a year at the Mendenhall Lake and Campground, Montana Creek, “pop up” ski locations such as North Douglas Pioneer Road and Salmon Creek, and in partnership with Eaglecrest Ski Area to extend the ski season beyond their normal operating schedule! Your membership dollars buy grooming equipment, gas and fuel, cover maintenance, and help build the equipment replacement fund. The JNSC also hosts a variety of races, clinics, and events throughout the year.

We suggest you support your all-volunteer club by purchasing a yearly membership and make an additional donation if possible. Our memberships are remarkably low: Adults 18 & older $60, Family $120 (for any family size), Junior 17 and under $18 (no charge for 6 and under), Day Pass $5, Pay-As-You-Will $25.

Also, please consider including the JNSC in your retirement plan and will. Contact the board president for more information.
