Eaglecrest lower loop hardened and ready for new snow

I had a chance to walk the lower loop today and admired the grooming work from last week on the thin snow cover. The surface is quite hard – my boot prints were barely visible. Some rocks showing on the far end of the meadow. The moment we get a little new snow on top of the existing hard pack the skiing should be good. The predicted snow will be the best Christmas present we could ask for!
