Come celebrate the 4th annual celebration of Nordic skiing. Ski as many km as you can, record it with the volunteers at the lower lot (carpool with your bubble please). The goal of the event is two-fold: raise funds for the club’s youth programs, and to celebrate Nordic skiing as a community by seeing how far we can (collectively) ski in a day and raise awareness of the climate crisis. The 3000 km record was a couple years ago on Mendenhall Lake and we are striving to break it! Bring your mask and your Eaglecrest pass. Bring your snacks, lunch, and warming and rehydrating beverages.
PS. Mark your calendars for the annual end-of-season Border 2 Border, ski all the trails in 1 day event the weekend of Vernal Equinox, March 20 or 21.
