Lake pretty much unskiable as hard crust of about 4 inches of ungroomed snow. Should be fantastic after the forecasted snow gets groomed.

Wha is skiing? I’m ice skating

Like Mom said the lake ice cannot be called safe, but that’s what makes it fun! If your tolerance of risk includes open water at the glacier face, and potential thin spots or overflow conditions, you might enjoy some of the best wild ice in a generation.

Risk Tolerance

The lake is is never safe. You have to determine your own risk tolerance to expose yourself and loved ones to it’s hazards. It can break at any time. Heavy wet snow and rising output flow levels mean a weakening system. No grooming today.
